Melissa Tancredi

Melissa Tancredi is one of Canada Soccer’s most accomplished national team athletes. A two-time Olympic medallist, she made 125 appearances for Canada’s Women’s National team in here career, including three Olympic Games and three FIFA Women’s World Cups. Known her physicality and commitment, Melissa holds the record for the second-fastest goal scored in FIFA Women’s World Cup history in 2007 at the 37th second, and served as Canadian captain during the team’s historic first-ever win over Germany in the 2016 Rio Olympics. Having retired at the start of 2017, Melissa has her doctorate of chiropractic medicine.







 

Dwayne De Rosario

Dwayne de Rosario is Canada’s all-time leading goal scorer and a four-time Canadian Player of the Year. A dynamic attacking playmaker, Dwayne began his career with Canada in 1998, making 81 appearances over an illustrious international career which included the historic 2,000 CONCACAF Gold Cup victory. A four-time MLS Cup champion, he also won the 2011 MLS Most Valuable Player award and is the sixth-leading scorer in MLS history with 104 goals.

Event Information

Allstate has teamed up with Canada Soccer to bring a unique experience to the Ottawa area. The FREE Allstate High Performance Soccer Clinic will be hosted by Allstate, supported by the Eastern Ontario District Soccer Association, and for the first time will feature not one, but TWO Canadian National Team athletes. Guest hosts include Canada’s Women’s National Team, Melissa Tancredi and Canada’s Men’s National Team, Dwayne De Rosario.

This clinic is available for high performance boys and girls, both players and goalkeepers.
